Sfortunatament daqsxejn injorant fuq is-suggett imma minn dibattiti li stajt nosserva fuq it-tv, Berlusconi u Prodi huma l-ekwivalenti tac-Cilla u z-Zeza Maltin.

30 years ago:
just 7 votes from Siggiewi:
gave us 20 years of squallid socialism.

Total power for a gang of thugs:
to ruin Malta in every way:
especially Culturally and Environmentally.

Huge blocks of flats:
rising from the water's edge at Xlendi: Gozo.
The work of a squallid socialist minister whose statue adorns Paola square.

In Italy the results are out:
Prodi: 49.8% - Berlusconi 49.7%
Total power and total Zeroity by just 0.1%

This is "Democracy".
The worst form of government.
The dictatorship of numbers.

A bad Monarch can be toppled:
a revolution can see to that.
At least his mistakes are his responsability.

In a "Democracy" of a 0.1% majority:
who is responsable for the awesome mistakes that follow.
Nobody can be pinned down.

Athens had a real Democracy:
yet, only 1 in 10 voted.
Only men over 21, landed and original Atheneans.

A qualified Democracy - a Democracy of Aristocracy:
for those responsable with a vote.
A real Democracy amongst peers.

I'm really please that the Prodi lot won the elections. They are all short- sighted, citizen-of-the-world pro-immigrants nerds.
In other words, we can now pack off our bunch of unwelcome and unwanted African guests to Italy and they will not be able to refuse them without losing face and going back on their electoral promises.

How could it be Zeza from Bubaqra when it was from Siggiewi that those 7 votes came from. However I recall that they came from Qormi, where that insipid Joe Abela, who later became Minister of Finance and made sure that private Banks in Malta were a no no.:o

elections around europe are being won on a close count. first germany and now italy. as if people want a change, but they have no options but to vote one of the usual central-leftists parties.

we only need a real right wing party win an election in europe, which i'm confident will happen in france next year. all europe will then start realising that there's nothing evil in voting a right wing party and that the right wingers are a real option...the real change!
