Prime Minister Joseph Muscat delivered one of his most hypocritical speeches ever on the eve of Freedom Day, calling on the Maltese to change their attitudes towards migrants and warning that failure to integrate migrant workers could push them towards extremism.
In his speech, Muscat referred to the attacks in Paris and Brussels and questioned what went through young people who had suddenly taken the drastic course of action to commit a suicide attack on innocent people.

“We are partially at fault here,” Muscat said. “We have created a system that isolates people and minorities in ghettoes.”

“In Malta, black people are only tolerated as far as the Marsa roundabout where they are left to beg for work,” Muscat said.

“Let’s not push our migrants into mouth of terror.”- Muscat stated.

Joseph Muscat: From adopting Push-back policy to “Let’s not push our migrants into mouth of terror.”
The European people are in the mouth of terror Joseph Muscat, not the migrants.
Millions of migrants streaming in. It’s an absolute risk for the European people.
And one day this will even catch up in Malta Dr.Joseph Muscat.

Joe Grima resigns after saying he would sue over 'cockroaches' reports
Tourism Minister says Grima's resignation was "inevitable"

Joe Grima has resigned as Malta's envoy to the World Tourism Organisation after he posted comments about the newly elected Muslim London mayor, which many deemed as racist.

It is not yet known whether Mr Grima resigned voluntarily or whether he was forced to step down after once again going one step too far with his Facebook comments.

Sources told Times of Malta Prime Minister Joseph Muscat was "very unhappy" with Mr Grima's comments.
Tourism Minister Edward Zammit Lewis said Mr Grima's resignation was inevitable.

"His position had become untenable the moment he made yesterday's comments," he said.

The decision comes hours after the former Labour minister said he would sue Times of Malta, Malta Today and blogger Daphne Caruana Galizia for libel, claiming they had misinterpreted the comment he made in reaction to the election of Sadiq Khan.

"His position had become untenable the moment he made yesterday's comments."
- Edward Zammit Lewis

Mr Grima posted on Facebook:
"The writing is on the wall. The cockroaches have invaded dear old London. Londoners thought they were buttering their bread by voting in an Islamic Mayor but with the butter they allowed in the cockroaches."

His statement was condemned by the Minister of Tourism, among many others.
Mr Grima, a former Labour minister, in a statement earlier today said he was in favour of freedom of expression but he claimed his statement had been twisted and misinterpreted.

The liberal bunch will not miss an opportunity to misinterpret anything which does not suit their agenda
"The liberal bunch which is reigning, because a good number of them are close to the people in power... will not miss an opportunity to throw dirt, claim motives and misinterpret anything which does not suit their agenda."

Mr Grima tagged his comment to a story uploaded by the pro-Israeli website supportisraelnow.com
Labour mayor Sadiq Khan beat Tory Zac Goldsmith to become London mayor, ending eight years of Conservative control, with the largest personal mandate of any politician in UK history.

Last year, Mr Grima stirred more controversy after he attacked President Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca for urging migrant integration. He has also described human rights NGO Aditus Foundation as “cultural rapists”.

In August 2012, he resigned as show host on the Labour Party’s TV station after he launched an attack on a priest who had written a critical obituary in The Catholic Herald of former leader Dom Mintoff.

--------------------

Joe Grima was the best Tourism Minister in Maltas's History.
A Man with a quick mind capable of taking difficult decisions.
He has been sacrificed by a Squalid Socialist Party.

And our PM, up to his ears in scandals and graft - finds time to sack a Man who is good at his job.
Why? Because Political Correctness is everything to these bunch of Squalids.
What an inferiority complex these Socialists carry about, as a badge of honour.

What a mess Malta is in: we swopped Al Capone's bunch with that of Lucky Luciano.
Joe Grima expressed an opinion held by the majority of Maltese.
The daily attacks by "cockroaches" in London, Cologne and other major cities, prove him right.

We are confident Mr Joe Grima will never make an apology.
We wish him well.

Muscat insists position on migrant influx opposite to Slovak PM’s
Joseph Muscat has been quoted by Slovak PM Robert Fico as having told him that Muslim influx ‘changing character of host countries’

Prime Minister Joseph Muscat’s position on migration is “opposite to that of the Slovakian Prime Minister” and Malta’s actions support this, a spokesperson for the Office of the Prime Minister has told MaltaToday.
Muscat has been quoted by Robert Fico, prime minister of Slovakia, as having said that Muslim people “are changing the character of the country”.

According to Euractiv, in an interview last week, Fico said: “It may seem strange, but sorry, Islam has no place in Slovakia. I have talked about this several times with the Maltese prime minister, who told me that the problem is not that they were coming, but they are changing the character of the country.”
Fico, re-elected to power in March, was described by Euractiv as having developed “a strong anti-Islamic rhetoric” and that his latest comments have caused “widespread indignation”.

Muscat, whose party fielded Muslim candidate Mario Farrugia Borg for the 2013 elections, has however distanced himself from the Slovak’s comments.

“The Prime Minister’s position is publicly known and it is opposite to that of the Slovakian Prime Minister, as Malta’s actions and policies clearly show, including being one of the few member states to participate actively in the relocation mechanism,” the OPM said.

“In Council, the Prime Minister’s position and that of the Italian Prime Minister was always consistent. Malta sympathises with the fact that mass influx leads to challenges for host populations, as we have experienced ourselves.

“Progressive parties must acknowledge this fact and not sideline those parts of the population, including our traditional base, who feel forgotten by mainstream parties and then turn to extremists.”
On the eve of this year’s Freedom Day, Muscat called on the Maltese to change their attitudes towards migrants and warned that failure to integrate migrant workers could push them towards extremism.
In his speech, Muscat had referred to the attacks in Paris and Brussels and questioned what went through young people who suddenly become suicide bombers: “We are partially at fault here. We have created a system that isolates people and minorities in ghettoes. This is absolute hypocrisy. We are preaching inclusion but leaving minorities feeling they are still foreigners in their own country.”

If this reveals itself to be true, then:
the PM will have no option but to go to the polls - hold an immediate Election.
If he wins, he will have 5 years to try and mend his tattered image - if he loses, then he will have only himself to blame.
