Archbishop warns of Europe ‘creating a new style of apartheid’
Addressing a symposium on migration, Archbishop Charles J Scicluna says walls being built by EU member states leading to a new style of apartheid

With walls being built in Europe and in the Holy Land, the world is creating a new style of apartheid, Archbishop Charles J Scicluna has warned

“If you go to the Holy Land it is so obvious, and if we continue building walls in Europe it will become more and more obvious in the future,” the Archbishop told a symposium on migration, organised this morning at Villa Francia in Lija.
“And so we have walls being built in the Holy Land, and walls being built in Europe, and we are creating a new style of apartheid.”
Commenting on the idea that building walls made people feel safer, Scicluna referred to comments by Pope Francis, who said that “in reality, barriers create divisions instead of promoting the true progress of peoples, and divisions sooner or later lead to confrontations”.

One of the great challenges of society, Scicluna added, was that people were doing things that benefitted them - be it economical or cultural.

said that “we need to approach situations even if we are called to recognise that they may not bringing us tangible and immediate benefits”.

When Pope Francis visited the Greek island of Lesbos earlier this year, he challenged Europe to remain rooted in a culture of hospitality and human rights. The Pope had urged European countries to never forget that migrants “are first of all persons who have faces, names and individual stories”.
“Europe is the homeland of human rights, and whoever sets foot on European soil ought to sense this, and thus become more aware of the duty to respect and defend those rights,” the Archbishop said.
“Unfortunately, some, including many infants, could not even make it to these shores: they died at sea, victims of unsafe and inhumane means of transport, prey to unscrupulous thugs.”

Scicluna went on to remind those attending the symposium that Malta’s own Catholic faith, as told in the book of Acts, derived from a decision to greet over 270 people who had been shipwrecked on Malta’s shores about 60 AD.

“Publius actually was very generous with them, he let them stay in his countryside home near Burmarrad, for three days, I mean ... not a mean feat," the Archbishop quipped.

“Over 270 people staying at your table for three days, and then he was wise enough to let them roam on the islands ... I’m sure there were also some who married on the islands, who knows? The Acts of Apostles however talks about these ‘barbaroi’ who demonstrated an unusual hospitality and made this narrative inspire us even today.”

This poor, Archbishop caugth in between Ratzinger and this Jesuit Anti-Kristos.
One understands him - he is lost, between two Spiritual antipodes.
And here, one understands the perfidy:

“Over 270 people staying at your table for three days, and then he was wise enough to let them roam on the islands ... I’m sure there were also some who married on the islands, who knows? From what I can understand of the situation in your islands, these are the people who the Archbishop should rely upon:

A number of them were mentioned in other posts as being of the Right Movement, if my memory still functions.  ;) ;)

Die Grenzen der Toleranz (The Limits of Tolerance) - Weihbischof (Bishop) Richard Williamson

------------

Bishop Williamson gives an excellent speech, rightly putting Spirituality as the Highest Priority.
Man's relationship with God, Godhood and Godliness take precedent over all else.
Notice the Convergence with our Imperium Europa view of Spirituality.

Indeed Cosmotheism can converge with Kristology (not Jesus).
Cosmotheism and the Man who preached it, 2,000 years ago in the language of the time.
Yes! The Swastika and the Cross converging and saving the White Man from Satanic Judaism.

http://catholicherald.co.uk/news/2018/01/02/german-church-collected-record-e6-billion-in-taxes-last-year/

German Church collected record €6 billion in taxes last year

The figures come despite falling Mass attendance

Germany’s Catholic Church received a record €6 billion (£5.3 billion/$7.2 billion) in tax money last year, a newspaper investigation has found.

The country’s 27 dioceses also have a fortune of at least €26 billion, including large investments in real estate and equities, making the German Church likely the wealthiest Catholic institution in Europe other than the Vatican.

Handelsblatt reports that despite more than 2.2 million Germans formally deregistering from the Church since 2000, the country’s strong economy has helped boost tax revenue to record levels.

Under the country’s church tax, the government deducts a levy of eight to nine per cent from the income of registered church members and hands it to the country’s various churches, including the Catholic Church.

As well as receiving the large sums from registered Catholics, the German Church has numerous assets and investments. Handelsblatt says that the Church has financial investments of €15 billion, and a fortune of at least €20 billion in fixed assets such as real estate and equities.

The diocese with the highest equity is Paderborn, which has €3.5 billion, followed by Munich with €2.8 billion, and Cologne with €2.6 billion.

The figures come despite the number of Catholics regularly attending Mass falling substantially since the 1960s. In 2015, 2.5 million Catholics went to church on Sunday, compared to 11.5 million 50 years earlier.

In an article for the Catholic Herald last year, Anian Christoph Wimmer, editor of CAN Deutsch, wrote about the state of the German Church.

“The overall number of Catholics stands at 23.8 million – just less than a third of the total population. So it is no surprise that last year, only one in 10 German Catholics worshipped God on Sunday by attending Holy Mass. (And that figure is down one third from 2000.

-------------

Does this include the yearly Hitler fund to the Catholic Church?
The National Socialist - Vatican Concordat had a clause for the German Govt to subsidize the Catholic Church with billions of Reichmarks.
This funding carried on after the war to the present day.

Catholic Cretins keep supporting this Church that betrayed them.
Urging followers to accept millions of Black, sub-human savages.
A dying church as millions leave it in disgust.

Church attendance on Sundays is a mere 1% in England, France, Germany and Italy...
A Spiritual Void is screaming - a return to our pure, Pagan roots.
COSMOTHEISM

Trauma faced by displaced people leads to mental stress
'Leaving home country always has impact on mental well-being'

Mgr Alfred Vella’s reaction when he peered into the disorderly room of a Somali woman hosted at one of the Church’s centres was to chide her and ask her to grab a broom.

“She broke down in tears, but I insisted she had to keep her room in order, put her clothes away in the wardrobe and sweep the floor. She asked: what is a broom? What is a wardrobe?” the Emigrants’ Commission director recounted.

“She had never needed a broom, as she lived in a hut and the floor indoors and the ground outdoors were equally covered in dust. She needed someone to explain to her things that we take for granted.”

Mgr Vella was speaking to the Times of Malta following the death of Victoria, the Nigerian girl who passed away last month after she was rushed to hospital from a residence in Żabbar. The seven-year-old died from aplastic anaemia, according to her death certificate.

Professionals had expressed concern with the Times of Malta that there would be a repeat of the tragedy, unless action was taken about systemic gaps.

Trauma is not contained within a particular episode that leaves some scars
Mgr Vella did not comment about the case, which is still being investigated, but instead spoke about the general situation of migrants from a humanitarian point of view.

“Sometimes we question people’s decisions and behaviour, or lack of action in particular circumstances,” he said.

“But we need to understand that the trauma people experience manifests itself in mental stress and this can lead them to reason out things differently from the way they are expected to.”

At the Emigrants’ Commission offices in Valletta, Mgr Vella meets several people who have developed mental stress. This is often the result of the trauma they experienced before and during their trip to Malta, heightened by the fact that they have to settle down in a completely different environment from what they are used to in their home country.

The trauma, he explains, is not contained within a particular episode that leaves some scars, but is a process of accumulated stress: “When you treat an infection and it leaves scars, even just looking at the scars may rekindle pain.”

Mgr Vella believes that there needs to be a unit – not a psychological asylum – that tackles mental stress as a result of trauma experienced by displaced people. Migrants need tailor-made treatment because of their specific trauma, he explains.

Asked whether Maltese emigrants had experienced similar stress, Mgr Vella said that no matter the reason and circumstances behind the departure, leaving a home country always had an impact on people’s mental well-being.

“The Maltese who emigrated from Malta were well-prepared, most often equipped with the necessary skills and documentation. They also had someone at the other side to welcome them.

“There still was a substantial number who became homesick. Let alone migrants who come here irregularly and go through all that trauma on the journey.”

While migrants needed to do their part, acculturalisation, integration and inclusion were all processes that took time, Mgr Vella added.

Referring to Maltese people’s experience in host countries like the US, Canada and Australia, among others, he noted that he had met first generation emigrants who were still “holding back” several decades after leaving the island.

What a despicable hypocrite in the frock.
This bastard once urged the Police to be "heavy handed" with us of Imperium Europa, when we once held a peaceful protest at Balzan.
So, this Illegal Invader doesn't know what a broom is! - Aren't these engineers, architects and rocket scientists, the Jesuits once insisted they are?

What a decrepit, disgusting church - what a treasonous church.
Mired in scandals, abandoned by an ever growing exodus of the faithful, who have lost all faith in this outfit.
These priests now turn to these primitives to replace the dwindling numbers of their congregations.

And who pays for the Unit he wants set up, to tackle mental stress of these poor Africans, guzzling beer cans on pavements?
Why doesn't the church pay for it and set it up?
You only have to look at him!
